A Review ~ Fluffy’s Grooming Find
For several months now, Jean and I have taken Fluffy to The Groomin Room at 7540 Frankford Avenue in the Mayfair section of NE Philadelphia.
Since our last experience with a vet which will remain nameless (rip off), we started a search for not only a new vet but also a groomer.
Unfortunately because of our previous experience, we are not really confident in finding a trustworthy Dr. for Fluffy at this time. If you have a recommendation, please share with us.
The Groomin Room is Fantastic!
When we pick her up, she is very calm and relaxed the entire ride home – unlike when we would pick her up from our previous office, she would wimper until she knew she was safe at home again.
Granted, the other place used drugs to bath and do whatever they needed, but in our opinion, it is also the care received that is in line with our love for our ‘baby’.
In researching, we were looking for a groomer that did not use drugs and after just our first visit, we knew that not only will she come home bathed and smelling pretty, but also clean & sober.
What a difference!
Philadelphia Flea Market
With the nice weather starting, I have been thinking a lot about the Philadelphia Flea Market that I found last year.
Talk about a lot of great finds! You will find them there. New and old ’stuff’ for you to go through.
Today while emailing my daughter, we will sometime soon be venturing up there to see what’s hot this year.
